Meet our Staff

Mrs L Young

Head Teacher and Designated Safeguarding Lead

I first joined the school in 2009 as Deputy Head and UKS2 teacher. I have been teaching for a number of years and have taught across all all ranges during my career (from Nursery to Year 6).
I was appointed as Headteacher in January 2018.

I am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Mrs J Howell

PSA and SEMH Lead

Mrs Howell works as our Parent Support Advisor, signposting parents when they need any help.
She is also our Social, Emotional, Mental Health Lead and a trained Thrive Practitioner so she takes a lead in supporting well-being and positive mental health within school.

Mrs Howell is also one of the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs)

Mrs H Morris

Acting Deputy Headteacher and Year 6 Teacher

Mrs Morris also also our Maths Subject Lead and PE Subject Lead.
She ensures that we have a broad and balanced curriculum in both subject areas.
Mrs Morris also leads on physical and sporting enrichment.

Mrs Morris is also one of the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs)

Mrs C Coatsworth

EYFS Teacher (Part-time)

Mrs Coatsworth is our Early Reading and Phonics Lead.
She is also responsible for reading development across the whole school.

Mrs K Decube

EYFS Teacher (Part-time)

Mrs Decube is our MFL Lead. As a French speaker, she leads the teaching of French across KS2.
She is also a trained Forest School Leader and has supported a rich Forest School programme for our EYFS children through fortnightly visits.
